Value of Good Health:

 Good health is a boon. It is the most precious possession of a man. If a man loses his health, the world loses all its charms for him. Ask the man who has lost his health. He will tell you the value of good health. Health is the real wealth of a man. 

'Sound mind is a sound body' is an old saying. Healthy mind can only be found in healthy bodies. Sickly men have sickly minds. Their attitude to life is gloomy. On the other hand, if a man has good health ,his outlook to life is also healthy. He can work for long hours without feeling tired. If a student has good health, his memory is good and his mind is sharp.

Good health cannot be had on demand. There are certain things which are essential for good health. Nutritious food comes first. We should take only that food which has nutritious value. Fresh air is also important for good health. People living in the open air usually enjoy good health. Exercise plays a great role in making a man healthy. Balancing one's hour of sleep and rest also contribute to good health.

अच्छा स्वास्थ्य वरदान है। यह मनुष्य की सबसे कीमती संपत्ति है। यदि कोई व्यक्ति अपना स्वास्थ्य खो देता है, तो दुनिया उसके लिए अपना सारा आकर्षण खो देती है। उस आदमी से पूछो जिसने अपना स्वास्थ्य खो दिया है। वह आपको अच्छे स्वास्थ्य का मूल्य बताएगा। स्वास्थ्य ही मनुष्य का असली धन है।

'स्वस्थ मन एक स्वस्थ शरीर है' एक पुरानी कहावत है। स्वस्थ तन में ही स्वस्थ मन पाया जा सकता है। बीमार आदमी का दिमाग बीमार होता है। जीवन के प्रति उनका दृष्टिकोण उदास है। दूसरी ओर, यदि मनुष्य का स्वास्थ्य अच्छा है, तो उसका जीवन के प्रति दृष्टिकोण भी स्वस्थ है। वह बिना थकान महसूस किए लंबे समय तक काम कर सकता है। विद्यार्थी का स्वास्थ्य अच्छा हो तो उसकी स्मरण शक्ति अच्छी और दिमाग तेज होता है।

मांग पर अच्छा स्वास्थ्य नहीं हो सकता। कुछ चीजें हैं जो अच्छे स्वास्थ्य के लिए जरूरी हैं। पौष्टिक भोजन पहले आता है। हमें वही खाना लेना चाहिए जिसमें पौष्टिकता हो। अच्छी सेहत के लिए ताजी हवा भी जरूरी है। खुली हवा में रहने वाले लोग आमतौर पर अच्छे स्वास्थ्य का आनंद लेते हैं। मनुष्य को स्वस्थ्य बनाने में व्यायाम बहुत बड़ी भूमिका निभाता है। एक घंटे की नींद और आराम को संतुलित करना भी अच्छे स्वास्थ्य में योगदान देता है।
